My journalist father introduced me to photography 50 years ago. His early death took me away from the camera for a while. I went into a career in information technology and marketing, from which I returned to photography when chemicals had been replaced by bytes and pixels.

I fulfilled a childhood ambition by studying photography at university grey-haired (well, greyish) to pursue photography at the highest level - here I thank my wife and family for their love and endless patience.
